2. Our privacy and IT security principles

Minimal data collection

We process only the personal data required to operate this website securely, answer enquiries, and develop and provide our apps. This website does not collect health data and does not use user tracking for advertising or analytics purposes.

No user accounts on this website

The PocketMoss website currently has no user accounts, registrations, or personal profiles. We therefore do not collect registration or account data through this website.

On-device processing

Our apps are designed for Apple devices. Where a particular feature allows it, we process data directly on the iPhone or iPad and avoid sending it to our servers. If an app feature requires external services or additional data processing, we will explain this in the privacy policy applicable to that app.

3. Website visits and server logs

When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and operating-system information, and the HTTP status code.

This processing is required to provide the website securely, reliably, and without errors, and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting provider: all-inkl.com. Retention periods depend on the hosting provider's settings and policies.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your message, email address, and the information you provide in order to handle and answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We delete the request once it has been finally handled unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require further storage.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics and does not use marketing or tracking pixels. Technically necessary storage may be required by the browser or hosting operation.

6. Analytics, advertising, and external content

This website currently does not embed analytics services, advertising networks, social-media trackers, or external web fonts. If this changes, this policy will be updated before the relevant service is used.

7. PocketMoss apps

The PocketMoss apps are in development. They are designed for Apple devices, with processing kept on the relevant device where possible. Final details about data processing, permissions, system extensions, and possible in-app purchases will be added before each release based on the shipped build.

The notices published in the relevant app and on the App Store, as well as any separate app privacy policy, also apply to the use of that app.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
